It's because of Great Grandma Christina Parker that OntkOrganix was born. Christie Ontko, great-granddaughter of Christina Parker (pictured above) began making creations in her island kitchen after getting the family's secret recipe for a healing salve. It was simply called, “Gramma's Salve,” with the handwritten directions “A lot to draw, a little to heal.” It's what Christie and her family used on every cut, nasty bug bite, bee sting, and even sore muscles. Always loving to bake, Christie instantly loved the feeling of creating healing stuff. (It was like baking, but without the calories!) Due to her love of organic living, and needing something for her dry hands, she concocted Lavender Balm. A move to the island of Maui allowed creativity to flow from her, and now, there are more than thirty products in the OntkOrganix line. Christie now splits her time between the island of Put-in-Bay and Maui, keeping busy creating organic concoctions and growing lavender.
